SENIOR COUNSELOR
Ms. Barnes is starting her third year as senior counselor at the castle, however, she is definitely not new to the profession. She has served in Caddo as both a teacher and professional school counselor for twenty years.
She has been nominated by her peers and awarded the title of Caddo School Counselor of the Year twice and is one of the few nationally board certified counselors in the nation. She is the proud parent of two grown sons, three cats, and one gorgeous dog named Gracie. Although Ms. Barnes is originally from Mississippi, she has decided to make Shreveport, LA her permanent home. Laissez le bon temps rouler!
GRADUATION COACH/SOPHOMORE COUNSELOR
Mrs. S Secoundiata is entering her 22nd year as an educator. She has worked around the state in various schools. A native of Hammond, Louisiana Mrs. Secoundiata attended Grambling State University where she met and later married her college sweetheart. She loves her Grambling Tigers and the New Orleans Saints!
At the castle Mrs. Secoundiata works with all areas of testing as well as serving a point of contact for all students following the Jumpstart TOPS Tech Career Diploma path.
She is a proud parent of 3 children.
